DECKING MATERIAL
Pressure-treated wood, cedar, hardwood, PVC, and composite decking each offer different aesthetics, durability levels, and price points. Composite decking typically costs more upfront but delivers significant savings on maintenance and refinishing over time.
DECK SIZE & ELEVATION
A ground-level platform deck differs substantially in cost from an elevated multi-level structure requiring engineered posts, beams, and hardware connections. Total square footage is the primary driver of material volume and labour hours.
RAILINGS & STAIRS
The railing system selected — wood, aluminum, glass panel, or stainless cable — varies widely in cost. Stair configurations, the number of landings, gate requirements, and post styles also contribute meaningfully to the final quote.
PERMITS & INSPECTIONS
Decks over a certain height or square footage require a building permit and structural inspection in most GTA municipalities. Our team manages the full permitting process, with fees and timeline factored into your project plan.
