TYPE OF STONEWORK
The style of stonework chosen — natural flagstone, interlocking pavers, armour stone, brick masonry, or poured concrete — each carries distinct material sourcing and installation costs that shape the project total.
STONE SELECTION & SOURCING
Premium or locally quarried natural stones typically cost more than manufactured concrete alternatives. The rarity, slab size, thickness, and surface finish of the chosen stone affect the per-unit and per-square-foot price.
COMPLEXITY & PATTERN
Intricate laying patterns, curved edges, multi-level designs, and custom wet cuts require more skilled labour and extended time on-site. Decorative inlays, soldier courses, or mixed-material borders add further to the complexity.
BASE PREPARATION & DEPTH
